I'm so happy to announce that my second (and hopefully not last!) YouTube video in collaboration with my best friend Zack (you might know him as "zachwithak" on his social media channels and "zackhourihane" on YouTube) is live: "QUESTION AND ANSWER! Coffee with Veena + Zack" !!! It's always so much fun collaborating with my lovely and talented bestie, who is the Entertainment Editor of famous local news portal "Popspoken," as well as an achieved YouTube singer/songwriter. We filmed this fun video at a quirky concept space on McCallum Street called "SPRMRKT" (that's "supermarket" minus the vowels), which houses a delectable selection of home-cooked food and nibbles, assorted cooking utensils and keepsakes sourced from all over the world, and some insanely beautiful art pieces by emerging local visual artists. It's a cosy little hub of all things alternative and inspiring and is sure to redefine your dining/shopping experience by mixing them together at one perfect location! Oh, and my gorgeous black top was sponsored by Threepurs, who you might have read about in my previous advertorial post here! There isn't much else to say that isn't already said in the video, so if you're interested to hear everything from our career aspirations to what's on our iPhone lock screens and way more in-between, check out our video now! Leave your thoughts in the comments, give us a thumbs up if you enjoyed the video and share the link to share the love! We'll love you lots (even more than we already do!) for that :)

10qq with zoe.
Meet Zoe Suen, the uber-stylish Hong Kong based teen blogger behind the wildly successful Fashiononymous.net! She's stunning and her wardrobe is absolutely to die for - as you can see in the pictures above! Read on for a little taste of Zoe...
1. A designer item on your wishlist: the Dion Lee reflective knit! So rad.
2. What you're most likely doing on a Saturday afternoon: Eating too much food, reading or going on the computer (slash attempting to do work).
3. Your favorite school subject: English.
4. A celebrity fashion icon of yours: I'm going to be cliche and say Alexa Chung because she can do no wrong!
5. Something you'd never be caught wearing: Neon shiny leggings - aahh!
6. Your favorite season: Fall - even though it only lasts two weeks in Hong Kong.
7. Your favorite piece of jewelry: My watches! I feel totally disoriented without them.
8. The last book you read: 'Madame Bovary' by Gustave Flaubert. So. Good.
9. If you could pick a designer to design your summer wardrobe, who would it be? Probably Sass and Bide or Dion Lee; Australian designers have the best summer clothes.
10. A hairstyle you'd really like to try: Messy, wavy, collarbone length hair à la 4th&bleeker. So cool!

“Dream career? I’m already doing it.”
~
This month’s 10QQ doesn’t feature a blogger, but a jewellery designer! Meet Lissele, a sixteen-year-old entrepreneurial spirit with a zest for life and an unshakeable love for all accessories! A regular seller at Camden Market as well as various car boot sales, Lissele has expanded her successful jewellery empireand opened a website. She is living proof that with hard work, your aspirations for the future are never as far away as you think.
1) Favorite gemstone and why: Emeralds because they go well with my complexion.
2) What inspired you to start making and selling jewellery? The fact that it’s usually too expensive and I wanted to make it cheaper for teenagers.
3) Favorite pastime: Keeping fit – I belong to the local boxing club!
4) Must-have accessory: My iPhone.
5) Where do you get your jewellery design inspirations?Anything Oriental or Asian-influenced really inspires me.
6) When you started your jewellery website: May 2012.
7) Favorite celebrity icon: Justin Bieber!
8) Ice-cream flavor you can’t stand: Coffee.
9) Favorite school subject? Probably P.E.
10) Dream career? I’m already doing it – selling cheap jewellery!

best friend tag video!
Hello everyone!
A relatively snappy, self-explanatory post for you today: one of my best friends (who also happens to be an incredible singer and youtuber) Zack Hourihane selected me to appear in one of his videos: A Best Friend Tag! We filmed this late last week, and I think he did an awesome job editing it in record time. In the video, we're answering a set of questions set by famous beauty blogger/youtuber JuicyStar007 - also known as Blair Fowler, and we're just generally rambling about life. It would mean a lot to both Zack and I if you took 7 minutes of your time to watch the two of us being stupid!
And for those of you who have never met me/live halfway across the world/are curious to hear what my voice sounds like: this is the video for you!

it's too cold outside for angels to fly.
Oh my goodness. After a long night at a wicked Halloween party (Ellie and I went as St. Trinian's Girls!), I came home and logged on to my computer to find THIS. Teen Vogue has selected me out of hundreds of girls as the Snapshot Best Dressed Blogger of the Day for October 28th, and I couldn't be happier. This is such a massive honour, and I was so happy that they chose me! Check out the Snapshot Blog post here.
And to top it off, I also got a tweet from them! I was literally ecstatic.
Moving on.
I was lucky enough to be the winner of a giveaway! I was so ecstatic when this surprise arrived in the post; I eagerly ripped it open to find a gorgeous Juicy Couture charm necklace (AND A SHEET OF BUBBLEWRAP WHICH BROUGHT AN EQUALLY LARGE SMILE TO MY FACE AND KEPT ME BLISSFULLY OCCUPIED FOR THE SUBSEQUENT FIFTEEN MINUTES). Thanks so much for choosing me to be the winner of this gorgeous present, Alexa! Check out her blog here.
What are your favourite songs and artists?
