tinytea giveaway!

You've seen it all over my Instagram and Twitter. You've heard all the fitness and health gurus rave about it. And now, it's time for you to try it!

YourTea, has, quite simply, been one of the biggest blessings of 2013 for me. I had no idea that the simple idea of drinking three cups of natural, organic and yummytasting tea for a couple of weeks would have such a great effect on my lifestyle. YourTea believes in the power of natural ingredients in their unique tea blends, that serve to enhance your lifestyle and physique. Derived from traditional Chinese medicine principles, YourTea boasts a wide range of tea blends to cater for everyone. Here are some short descriptions of the following teas they offer: (skip straight to the TinyTea summary if you're pressed for time!)

ManTea: For all the guys reading this: the ManTea teatox is designed to enhance muscle growth and promote a lean frame. This tea blend is free from sugar, chemicals and preservatives, and you may continue to consume supplements and exercise as you would normally, as the natural tea blend won't interfere with any of that. ManTea contains Green tea (to burn fat, increase metabolism and maintain muscle mass), antioxidants (to curb inflammation and allow for greater muscle growth), Camellia Senensis (helps muscle tone and increases energy levels) and Licorice Root (for harmonizing all herbs).

HerTea: For regular, everyday use girls: if you're retaining a lot of fluid,
feeling sluggish and energy deprived and looking to get rid of some excess fat, her tea will reduce fluid retention, heighten your mood, improve your skin, manage bloating issues and aid digestion. Contains Oolong tea, ginger, chrysanthemum, lyciumchinese (goji berries), and additional Chinese Medicine Herbal ingredients.

AntiC Tea: For anyone who feels that cellulite and toxins have set up camp on your booty and thighs, never fear… AntiC tea is here! It contains Fu Ling, Camellia Sinensis, Dandelion root and additional Chinese Medicine Herbal ingredients to help you combat excess fats on your body for a leaner, meaner figure.

Fertility Tea: For anyone planning to conceive, Fertility tea will become your new best friend. It optimizes your ability to become pregnant by nourishing your reproductive, digestive and emotional health. The Fertility Tea blend has been hand selected with precision by natural fertility specialist Natalie Kringoudis. It's safe and perfectly balanced to naturally support hormones and regulate your menstrual cycle to maximize fertility potential. It contains goji berries, peppermint tea, dandelion root, camellia sinesis, which each target a different body part to ensure the maintenance of a healthy reproductive system.

TinyTea: The most wellknown of all YourTea's products, the famous TinyTeatox (14 and 28 day teatoxes available) is the one I've been drinking for the past month. It's for everyone who feels bloated, lethargic, and for those who want to make aesthetic changes to their body. It performs an intensive cleanse and nourishes your digestive system to assist with weight lost, fluid retention and toxin removal. Unlike other detoxes that contain laxative ingredients to momentarily flush out toxins, the herbal ingredients found in TinyTea gently and thoroughly cleanse your system. Your digestive system is the most important part of maintaining a healthy weight, and this tea supports that system for optimum aesthetic results. This tea dries phlegm, reduces waste and assists digestion. Drink TinyTea three times a day, half an hour before mealtimes for optimum results. Do note that upon initial consumption, TinyTea can cause slight stomach upsets, minor skin breakouts and cramps as it gets to work. However, these symptoms do disappear very shortly, and after a few days you should already be feeling the benefits of it! According to YourTea, you should see a reduction in body fat, fluid retention and cellulite, as well as clear skin and more natural energy. TinyTea contains Camellia Sinensis, Catsia, Lotus Leaf, Crataegus Pinnatifida and additional Chinese Medicine Herbal ingredients.

Check out these Instagram pictures from fellow TinyTea enthusiasts!

Phew! So now that you've read about all the amazing benefits you're SUPPOSED to receive from consuming YourTea TinyTea in particular, I'll now tell you a bit about my own experience with the teatox. I've received a countless number of questions about this and I'm sorry for not answering a lot of them; I only ignored them because I knew I'd be publishing a much more comprehensive review of my experience here for you all to read! Anyway, it's always nice to hear about someone's personal experience (and as a disclaimer, YourTea has not asked me to write anything in particular about their product, so this is all from the heart!), so here goes! After drinking TinyTea for 28 days (and I have to admit I wasn't strict enough with myself on the timings of my consumption; I ended up drinking 4 cups some days and 1 cup on other days!), I felt a lot better in many ways. I hadn't really changed my diet and exercise patterns from what they were like before, so the tea definitely had a slight slimming effect nothing exceptionally noticeable, but my stomach did feel a little tighter as a result of less bloating. The tea did an excellent job of cutting out my bloating entirely, which both looked and felt great. One of my favorite benefits of the tea was the fact that it also gave me tons of energy. I'm someone who needs a LOT of sleep, and even when I get loads of sleep I'm still very drowsy and yawny in the late afternoon; my tiredness hits me like a train at around 3pm and I find it hard to stay focused towards the end of the school day. Tinytea provided me with plenty of amazing natural energy, and it's not even caffeinated! I felt so much more productive and awake and was better able to make the most of my day. Furthermore, it helped with my metabolism and food cravings a lot. I still wanted my chocolate, I'm not gonna lie, but it served as a moderate appetite suppressant and over time I began to feel less hungry. Because the teatox forced me to consume three to four additional cups of tea each day, I felt a lot more hydrated because of all the water I was drinking. By the end of the 28 days, the pattern of eating less and "expelling" more waste fell into place, and that slight imbalance of losing more than gaining (aka a slight net loss of food in the cycle of food consumption and waste production) was what made me feel so thoroughly cleansed out. Slight improvements in my skin were noticed too!

All in all, I didn't lose weight and my appearance didn't change that much, but I'm okay with that. I felt so much better on the inside, so much so that it began showing on the outside a little! This is not something you should consider if you're aiming for a dramatic difference in body shape and looking for something that will shed off your excess fat. Through making me less bloated, clearing my skin, cleansing my digestive system, suppressing my hunger/cravings and forcing me to consume more liquids and stay hydrated, I came out of the 28 day teatox feeling better than ever  and the fact that it showed on the outside a little was just a bonus! Please remember that this tea doesn't contain laxatives and is very gentle, so it won't violently drain the fat/weight out of you. It's nourishing, organic and a healthy addition to your existing lifestyle!
Check out the following snaps from @TinyTeaTox's Instagram!

What I want to also mention is that for the first week and a bit of drinking the tea, I made an extra effort to work out loads and eat healthy, and for the short time that I did, I saw some great results appear on my body. However, I am still human (and a human undertaking the IB, mind you), so unfortunately I had some slipups here and there and fell slightly out of this healthy lifestyle rhythm, but I'm okay with that! I'm no fitness junkie and health guru, and I'm still learning :) Therefore, the benefits I described above will probably apply more to those who maintain the same lifestyle while drinking the tea, but as I discovered in just a week of drinking tea and exercising, Tinytea is even more effective and excellent when paired with exercise and a healthy diet. The one complaint I have about the tea is the fact that it caused me some tummy pain and cramps on the first two days, but they disappeared quickly and were very minimal while they lasted.

Now, enough with the rambling. This Christmas, YourTea and I have paired up to bring this transformational Tinytea experience to YOU! I'm giving away TWO 14day Tinyteatoxes for you to try, each worth USD$35! #instadiary - halloween!

This sounds so bad, and I guess that's because it IS so bad, but I have to say it: I hate Halloween. Always have and always will. I know tons of people, young and old alike, have some of their fondest memories dressing up and trick or treating and carving pumpkins and decorating their houses, but I just don't see the appeal. I love Christmas for the festive, familial feeling in the air, the presents (of course) and the intimate connection the season has with my religion (Catholic), and I feel like it's okay for me to enjoy all the 'superficialities' such as Christmas clothing sales and yummy food because I know that I am also fervent towards the season in a more meaningful way. I'm not saying that every festival or "reason to celebrate" has to be deeply rooted in religion or history to be legitimate or enjoyable, and maybe I don't really know what I'm saying and my hatred is just an immature, irrational one. I just hate Halloween (except candy corn, I like candy corn). Okay party pooping rant over.

Anyway, all my social media platforms have been spammed with all things Halloweeny, creepy and black-and-orange over the past few days, which has made me a bit more tolerant towards this annual spook-fest. I'm not going to launch into a Halloween Style Guide (god no), but instead, I thought I'd collect some of my favorite Halloween moments shared with the Instagram world from our favorite bloggers, companies and editors around the globe. See this as my attempt to conform to society's unstoppable enjoyment of a rather frivolous occasion. Enjoy!

Blogger Royalty Bryan Yambao (@bryanboy) rocked the cutest Anna Wintour outfit this year; she mightn't be spooky, but she certainly sends some seriously scary chills down the spines of fashion's elite from her front-row perch. Brownie points for that wig and those glasses! Chiara Ferragni (@chiaraferragni) of another major blog, "The Blonde Salad," looked amazing as usual and accessorized with a funky magenta wig and a nose ring (let's hope she never actually gets that pierced for real...), while Australian teen singer, brother of Cody Simpson and outrageously insta-famous Alli Simpson (@allisimpson) snapped a cute pic of lit pumpkin decorations with her signature hazy, faded filters (Secret's out: I stalk her quite a bit).

Blogger/model Hanneli Mustaparta (@hannelim) captured a posed picture with some friends, rocking minimal makeup and a cute bow in her hair. I love the simplicity, but I prefer the wild eye-makeup of her fellow party-goers! Company Magazine (@companymagazine) shared an adorable #instanailart picture, complete with pretty rings too! Nail art is definitely the way to go if you're not big on dressing up real insane. Teen Vogue's Andrew Bevan (@bevansburg) boasted elaborate makeup and a ghoulish complexion, posing with Rebecca Minkoff and Gavin Bellour.

More nail goodness courtesy of major teen fashion mag Teen Vogue (@teenvogue) and a stunning flapper/Daisy Buchanan-esque selfie from actress Jennette McCurdy (@jennettemccurdy), but the real highlight here is Aimee Song's (@songofstyle) hilariously adorable Loofah costume. I have a feeling we'll see the same ingenious idea pop up on numerous occasions next Halloween, because this is what happens when you're one of the world's most successful individuals in the fashion industry: when you wear a loofah, you'll find that soon enough, everyone will wear a loofah. #TeamAimee

Parkncube (@parkncube) took the cutest photo next to an ASOS photowall, Teen Vogue Ed-In-Chief Amy Astley (@amytastley) captured an adorable moment on the subway of a little girl dressed up to go trick-or-treating, and fashion's all-time favorite designer Jason Wu (@jasonwu) clearly had a roaring good time (he attended the same Halloween party as Bryanboy!), decked out in winged eyeliner and even spookier friends on his arm. Maybe Halloween isn't so bad after all...

my life in pictures IV.

(across each row, left to right)

1. A slightly more unattractive selfie with one of the many memorable people I became close to this summer: John from Street Peek! Such a wonderful, hilarious fashion friend; laughs guaranteed.

2. My JumpFromPaper bag (!!!) that had me jumping and screaming when it came in the mail and can be seen in this outfit post - I still can't get over how cool it is. Thank you so much JFP!

3. An outtake from a photoshoot I did at East Coast Park with Amanda from BeautifulAdieu for an upcoming webstore called Threepurs.

4. Sunday morning coffee and red velvet with Michael at Haji Lane's coolest caffeine stop: Artistry.

5. The lovely folks at Publicist PR invited me to experience Dr. Brandt's new Detoxygen Facial, a bubbly, ultra-hydrating treatment available at both Sccube the Apothecary (#05-25 Ngee Ann City) and for DIY home use. It was a quick, relaxing treatment that left my skin radiant, deeply nourished and glowing! My lovely aesthetician treated my skin with Dr. Brandt's "Pores No More" skin care products too, which were perfectly suited to my oily, pimple-prone skin. I really enjoyed my pampering session - thanks so much Publicist PR!

6. Enjoying a personal favorite Twelve Cupcake flavor of mine, red velvet, courtesy of my lovely boss during my internship at Digital Fashion Week, Charina! Devouring this while planning a hectic roundtable meeting for all participating designers was just what the DFW crew needed to keep us going.

7. Enjoying some retail therapy at Sephora and subsequent feminine reading at Kinokuniya with the best friend to calm our nerves before IGCSE exam results came out!

8. Sitting on an oddly horizontal palm tree wearing my new VS bikini in Sibu (feat. the little bro playing with a rugby ball!)

9. A close-up of the not-so-delicious mushroom and truffle soup I had at P.S Cafe on one of my last visits there with Ethan. Although it was photogenic enough for me to take this picture, it was quite bland and was the first disappointment P.S Cafe has offered me.

the 5 instagram accounts you need to follow!

Instagram is still a relative newbie to the world of social media, but it seems that fashion has fallen in love with it to the point of no return. I am a total insta-addict myself; from OOTDs to #foodporn, it's become a little digital diary filled with quick snapshots of my daily life for my friends and readers to see. Some bloggers use it as a professional extension of their blogs, others post excessively (not a bad thing though!) about their personal lives which aren't featured on their blogs, but I like to think I land somewhere in between those extremes. Anyway, I've rounded up 5 of my all-time favorite Instagram accounts for you guys to drool over, have fun!

Name: Chelsea Lane (@truelane)
Number of followers: 4734
Bio: "Minneapolis! zippedblog.com"
What you'll find: Simple pictures of Chelsea's enviable, stylish daily life, edited with filters reminiscent of old film photographs. She's also put her own spin on the classic "ootd" picture; she shoots her own outfits by simply pointing her phone downwards so we get a closer view of her outfit details (and, more often than not, a peek at her daily caffeine dose too!). Expect lots of soft, bright shots of interiors, various street views and lots and lots of coffee.

Name: Zoe Suen (@zosuen)
Number of followers:
20,250
Bio:
"Blogger and incessant cat-video watcher from hong kong - Vine: zosuen - fashiononymous.net
"
What you'll find: A glorious mixed-bag of pictures; both sartorial and adolescent, perfectly showcasing Zoe's double life as a fashion blogger and high school student. Her pictures are frequently edited with grainy film effects and occasionally even colorful doodles! Expect frequent snapshots of her photogenic granola breakfasts, adorable selfies and previews of her upcoming posts!

Name: Maria S. (@avenuemaria)
Number of followers: 591
Bio:
"Vintage lover, sweet 16, Brisbane www.avenuemaria.blogspot.com"
What you'll find: The most delicately feminine selection of pictures encompassing Maria's life as a student, blogger and full-time florals enthusiast, not to mention a perfect reflection of her equally girly blogging style! Whether it be her morning tea and the latest copy of Frankie magazine, a lacy dress laid out on her flowery bedspread or a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, everything Maria posts is swathed with a vintage, sugary-sweet haze and is beautifully photographed, too!

Name: Sandra Juto (@sandrajuto)
Number of Followers: 52,338
Bio: "in berlin most of the time - welcome!
sandrajuto.bigcartel.com"
What you'll find: No exaggerations here; this account might take over your life. Seeing snippets of life as a designer in Berlin never fails to brighten my day. Even the most mediocre aspects of daily routine are cleverly captured; Sandra certainly has a way of harnessing the artistic potential in everything, be it frothy cappuccinos or sunny mornings. To top off all her photographic perfection, Sandra doesn't post too often or too rarely, she strikes the perfect insta-balance! As if you needed another reason to love her account.

Name: W O L F C U B (@wolfcubwolfcub)
Number of followers: 23,731
Bio:
"by brydie mack ∞ wolfcub@live.com.au - wolfcubchronicles.blogspot.com"
What you'll find: If there is an Instagram account that I can scroll through and mistake for my Tumblr dashboard (seriously, I've subconsciously tried to locate the "reblog" button on more than one occasion), it's this one. Boasting a clean, modern and very fashionable aesthetic, expect to see the harmonious marriage of nature and modernity in the form of flawless models donning sleek white pieces in the sun, sea, sand and surf. Other regular images include Polyvore outfit sets, grungy metallic details, chandeliers, glass jars, dramatic dresses and the occasional nude picture (girls only, please!). Worth a follow if you enjoy minimalist fashion inspiration in bite-sized doses!

+ Check out my interview with SeenHeardKnown Magazine here!
+ Congratulations to Lay Choo for winning my Juicy Couture giveaway, and thanks to everyone who entered!

ootd + giveaway!

Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Bracelet: Lovisa
Shorts + Belt: c/o PiecesofSummer
Top: thrifted/brandless
Rings: H&M
Wedges: Primark
iPhone case: Kate Spade

First outfit post in ages! I really enjoyed shooting with Sophie for the first time - we had the blessing of dry weather, (mostly) empty streets and the quiet backdrop of Orchard Road before the city properly woke up. These were shot right before a delicious brunch at Wild Honey with Kris, which, by the way, is my new go-to place for kick-ass breakfast food for any time of day. I'm glad my horrifically painful and hideous sunburn situation didn't show up too much in these pictures, and for those of you who follow me on Twitter, I'm sure you've heard enough about my current state of being an aloe-vera drowned lobster. I'm getting better though! I got this blouse for a ridiculously cheap price during my weekend trip to Bangkok a couple weekends ago, and while I could've downplayed the tropical prints with some denim or hushed accessories, I decided to liven it up with even more... Crayola colors (literally only word I can think of right now - someone get me a coffee). With electric blue wedges, bright green shorts and a striking red bag, this printed blouse is given a smart, urban update. Prints are traditionally used to liven up an outfit, but "outdoing" printed garments with colors and accessories that are bigger and better might just be my new style motto. I'll probably whisk this featherlight blouse away with me on my next beach vacation to wear as a cover-up, but who says prints always have to take the spotlight?

Last but not least, thanks so much for 700+ on Instagram! I Instagrammed about this giveaway on Monday so thanks for the overwhelming number of entries that have flooded in already! Win this versatile piece of arm candy from Lovisa, one of my favorite new places to shop for accessories! Its segments are threaded with elastic for a more comfortable fit, and I adore its texture, which adds a great touch to such a classic, wearable piece.
Keen to enter? Two steps:

1) Follow me on Instagram (@veenamccoole)
2) Drop an email with your contact details and the subject line "Lovisa Bracelet Giveaway" to veena@seveninchstilettos.com

This international giveaway closes on the 20th of April at midnight (Singapore time), and the winner will be selected randomly, contacted by email and asked to provide a screenshot of their "follow" via email. If the winner doesn't respond within 24 hours, then I'll pick someone else to win this great prize! Also, I'm open to suggestions for future giveaways. Drop me an email or inbox me on Tumblr if you've got any ideas you'd like to share!

lace & ebony.

Founded in December 2011, Lace and Ebony has quickly become one of Singapore's most prominent destinations for online shopping - and with such beautiful designs for the fashion-conscious individual as well as a wallet-friendly price range of $25-$35 apiece, it's no surprise the brand has taken the fancy of thousands of women. The brand strikes a successful balance between quality and affordability, and this collection, entitled "Casual Fallacy," consists of staple separates which add a fashion-forward flavor to any wardrobe. High-waisted shorts with a lacy overlay, feathery-light blazers in electric hues, galaxy print dresses and the snuggliest shirts you could imagine... you name it and Lace and Ebony will most probably have it. Seriously. Selling everything from office-worthy apparel to floor-length dresses, owner Angela describes Lace and Ebony clothing as "feminine with an edge." As well as being able to shop directly from their website, Lace and Ebony has expanded to sell at local boutique FirstDay (Plaza Singapura B1-19).

I had the privilege of modelling Lace and Ebony's newest collection, which I honestly could not have fallen more in love with (call it a clothes crush, IT HAPPENS OKAY). I can recall previous shoots where my departure was met with a twinge of sadness in my heart as I thought of all the beautiful clothes I'd worn - and then had to walk away from, but that frivolous materialistic heartache was amplified a thousand times after shooting this collection. I honestly loved every single piece to the desperate extent that I immediately spent the money I'd earned from modelling on two of my favorite pieces (I had to narrow down from 15 pieces to 2, sigh).
~
So what are you guys waiting for? Head over to laceandebony.com at 10pm (Singapore time!) tomorrow night (18th October) to catch the launch of Casual Fallacy, and treat yourself to some retail therapy without breaking the bank! Check out Lace and Ebony on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and TWITTER as well (@laceandebony)

What do you think of Lace and Ebony's new collection "Casual Fallacy," and what's your favorite piece from the photos above?

600 followers calls for a giveaway!

At the bittersweet end of every summer, I find that I’ve always collated a tiny treasure trove of must-haves over the two months I spend travelling. Be it a day spent under the sun roaming the streets of Paris or a chilly evening onboard a river cruise in Ireland, dry lips and skin have sadly become annoyances that I’ve had to deal with all summer long. Thankfully, I have Vaseline to thank for my ever-moistened lips. I’ve always relied on Vaseline’s heavenly pots of lip-balm, and when I came across this favorite of mine - newly manufactured with Cocoa Butter extract (and scent!), well, let’s just say I bought enough to moisturize an army.

In some cases, dry skin can mean dead skin too, so every few days I used Soap and Glory’s deliciously scented Flake Away exfoliator to remove dead skin cells for brighter skin. Summer is always a fast-paced time for our family; we’re constantly running from A to B without much time in between. I carry around Simple Face Wipes, which gently remove makeup and sunscreen and give me a refreshing boost. Whether we’re dashing from the beach to catch a dinner reservation or coming home after a long day in the city, these awesome wipes give me a fresh face and instant moisture. I also LOVE facemasks – they’re such a great way to end a long day! Try Mudd’s pure clay deep cleansing facemask to give your skin a healthy treat.

After spending days on a boat with limited access to showers (gross, I know) and exposure to harsh, hair-whipping winds, I relied on Toni&Guy’s Sea Salt Texturising Spray to keep my hair looking (and smelling) half decent. On the rare occasion I was required to dress up, my go-to product(s) for an instantly pampered look were my super-versatile mini nail polishes from Topshop, which were easy to carry around and fun for a quickie mani-pedi on a boring day.

To say thank you for all your support – and especially for helping me hit 600 Google Friend Connect followers, I’m giving away a Seven Inch Stilettos Care Packcontaining the 6 different essentials I’ve reviewed in this post! my life in pictures I.

all photos taken from my instagram - @veenamccoole

1. My Vitamin Water Wall - it's almost done! I'm such an addict, it's incredibly unhealthy.

2. My best friend Camilla and I getting ready for a party together. That black lace top and skirt combo is one of my all-time favourites!

3. Kimbra - I'm literally obsessed with her song "Cameo Lover." She was featured in Gotye's overrated single "Somebody That I Used to Know," and although she's an all-round amazing singer, I think her vocal skills are much better displayed in this song.

4. Jane By Design - I sped through the first season of this amazing new TV show, and that's coming from someone who never really commits to watching shows! A must-watch for fashion lovers in particular.

5. My eye - Although my European side clearly decided on my eye color, my Asian genes unfortunately dominated my eyelashes, which is why they're so short. This picture is one of the few that actually makes my lashes look remotely voluptuous (you have no idea how much mascara I was wearing though...). Oh the pains of being Eurasian!

6. My room - I took this while I was lying on my bed, and it actually captures my room at a really great angle and sums up what the rest of my room is like. Cluttered, covered in pictures, quotes and random things, as well as more Vitamin Water labels!

7. Me and Pixie Lott - yes, I met Pixie Lott. And I had a heart attack and started hyperventilating and literally went insane and oh my god she is the most beautiful, talented, perfect human being ever and I got two pictures with her and hugged her and talked to her and got her autograph and she said I was pretty and I almost fainted and it was all extremely exciting for someone like me. *phew.* *breathes.* She was having a Personal Shopping appointment at Topshop, and although her appearance was very well publicized beforehand, only 20-30 fans actually went along! It was a quaint, cozy affair and everyone got a chance to meet her, which was really nice.

8. My horribly messy desk - Unfortunately, this is what my workspace looks like when I'm actually being productive. When my desk is neat, that's usually a sign I'm procrastinating and not getting stuff done. Sorry mom!

9. Me! - I am the queen of selfies (although I'm not sure whether I'm proud of it or not...), and that's all I have to say about that picture.

10QQ with alexa.

On this month's 10QQ segment is Alexa Curtis, a 14 year old Connecticut-based blogger (Alexa independently runs "A Life in the Fashion Lane") who "lives and loves fashion." Her firm passion for the industry comes from her belief that "fashion is a way of expressing yourself." Alexa hopes to continue inspiring fashion enthusiasts from around the world with her blog.
~
1) Favourite beauty brand and product: Definitely Origins.
The best product I have from Origins is the Quick Hide Long Wearing Concealer. It's great for hiding every little mark or spot on your face.

2) Favourite thing about blogging: Having the opportunity to tell other people about my style, giving people inspiration, or helping someone to feel more comfortable with what they wear are my main goals, and when I achieve those things I know that my "work" as a blogger has paid off.

3) Latest obsession: Instagram! I have to use my iPod until I decide if I should get an iPhone but it is still the coolest app ever.

4) Three favourite bands/singers: Ellie Goulding, Nicki Minaj and Florence and the Machine.

5) Guilty pleasure: Anything covered in chocolate or Pinkberry. But not chocolate flavored Pinkberry.

6) A weekend in the city or an escape to the beach? I love the city and am there frequently, but an escape to the beach is definitely relaxing.

7) A magazine you get every month: Teen Vogue!

8) How your blog got it's name: My sister came up with "A Life in the Fashion Lane" when I first started my blog. I am so proud of that name and it by far is the best name to sum up my life.

9) Summer must-haves: Chapstick (perfect for long days and my lips are always dry), amazing sunglasses, comfy gladiators, bright coloured nail polish, and a maxi dress.

10) The next vacation destination you've got planned: I just went to Mexico but I am trying to convince my parents to take me to London next year for Fashion Week and to California for Coachella!

What do you think of Alexa's style and her blog: A Life in the Fashion Lane?
